1. Security first

Perform a fuel volume test to see whether the correct volume of fuel is being delivered to the fuel injectors if the fuel pump is supplying enough pressure.
3. Make use of a flowmeter or a glass measurement vessel.
Using a flowmeter is the most precise method of testing fuel delivery. Although some repair shops might have that, you might not. Here is a method for running a timed fuel delivery test that is fairly reliable. Use a suitable measuring container and exercise caution. Because fuel can corrode or fog plastic, glass is a suitable option.
Starting the car and letting it idle will trigger the pump to turn on. You must take a fuel sample while the pump is running for five seconds. Check your manufacturer’s specifications to determine if your pump is delivering the right quantity and your system is operating properly. The pump should deliver a particular amount of fuel within that time limit. To determine it, you might need to convert milliliters per second to gallons per hour.
